Epworth Community Services is a reputable voluntary welfare organisation that helps at-risk children and youths in their educational, social, emotional and moral development.We are a registered charity, a full member of the National Council of Social Service and an Institution of Public Character._________________________Our Student Care Centres provide a caring, conducive and safe environment for children whose parents are unable to look after them during the day because of work commitments. A conducive home-away-from-home also provides opportunities for the students to develop socially, morally, emotionally and intellectually, which allows them to develop holistically and reach their fullest potential._________________________Job Scope:

• Responsible for the children's well-being and safety at all times
• Assist and guide the children with their daily school work
• Plan and conduct character development programmes and activities to support the holistic development of the children
• Maintain discipline and classroom management while engaging the children in fun developmental activities and learning lessons
• Responsible for responding to parent queries at the centre.

Technical Competencies:

• Minimum GCE O Levels
• Enjoys working with children aged 6-12 years
• Prior work experience in a student care centre environment preferred
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Core Competencies:

• Responsible, self-motivated, and able to work well in a team setting
• Able to work in a systematic and organised manner with attention to detail
• Passionate and patient about working with children to provide an environment of care in an after-school care setting

Preferred achievements/characteristics:

• Prior experience working in a student care centre would be ideal
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Position open to candidates who are looking for temporary employment

Job Types: Full-time, ContractSalary: $1,800.00 - $2,300.00 per monthSchedule:

• Monday to Friday
