COMPANY DESCRIPTION The Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore (MINDS) has been caring for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (PWIDs) and their families since 1962. MINDS is today one of the largest charities in Singapore employing more than 850 staff. RESPONSIBILITIES The Programme Coordinator conducts programmes to suit the needs of the clients and coordinates these programmes.He/She identifies areas of improvements in these programmes, implements quality control and compliance measures anddevelops information materials for distribution to clients and volunteers. He plans and deploys manpower for eachprogramme, coordinates recruitment for volunteers and guides volunteers in executing programme activities. Hecoordinates with other organisations to execute programmes, manages communications and feedback from stakeholdersand conducts outreach activities to other organisations and the community. A resourceful, proactive, responsible and client-centric professional, the Programme Coordinator works in various voluntarywelfare organisations, communities and institutional settings. QUALIFICATIONS Diploma / Degree in any discipline, preferably in social work or related-fields OTHER INFORMATION

  • Some experience in social services, programme management or volunteer management
  • Fluent in English and a Second Language
  • Must be willing to work beyond office hours (including night duty) \xe2\x80\x93 to attend to service calls
  • Must be highly responsive to service calls
  • Have a strong sense of urgency and responsibility
  • Experience in working with persons with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities or related field is preferred
