We manage a portfolio of six key programs including Family Service Centres, Child Protection Specialist Centre, Goodlife, YAH!, Grief Matters and Home bath services. Our workforce size is about 300 employees; spread across 20 locations/centres across Singapore. Our HQ resides at 624 Upper Bukit Timah Road Singapore. Our program centres primarily are located in Marine Parade, Mountbatten, Telok Blangah, Kreta Ayer, Agape Village @ Toa Payoh and Yishun. Montfort Care will continue to grow our services and enhance our ability to impact more lives. In this connection, we are hiring talent to join our team in our HQ functions, social service support and direct social service. RESPONSIBILITIES The Executive, Programme primarily implements initiatives and development plans that are congruent with the organisation\xe2\x80\x99s goals and the needs of the community. With guidance from the Manager, Programme, he /she will participate in designing the above mentioned initiatives and development plans. Programme Implementation
To establish links and partnerships with relevant agencies to determine programme requirements and relevance
To identify upcoming trends affecting programme\xe2\x80\x99s success
To follow best practices and new methodologies aimed at enhancing programme impact
To follow service framework for programme work plans, resource requirement and budgeting
To follow procedures for programmes pertaining to community service
To plan and collaborate with other organisations to achieve programme\xe2\x80\x99s goals
To support Manager, Programme in reviewing the alignment of programme to centre objectives
To support Manager, Programme in reviewing effectiveness of programmes
Community Work
To organise and implement all kinds of community outreach event
To deliver social work programmes to meet the targeted needs
To gather relevant information from different sources
To link up of community resources
To support the team in rendering services to the community, e.g. home visit, medical escort and others
Volunteer Management
To communicate appropriate programme objectives to volunteers as required
To provide guidance to volunteers on executing effective programmes
To develop growing team of volunteers to support various programmes
To network and build relationships with potential partners that have many volunteers
To identify and retain committed volunteers
Compliance
To consolidate status of KPIs to Manager, Programme and Centre Director periodically
To ensure expenditure is within the budget
To ensure KPIs will be met within the timeline as per funding agencies\xe2\x80\x99 requirement
To support Manager, Programme in preparing annual service reports by preparing the relevant and required information
Ad-hoc Duties
To provide any other support as assigned/required
QUALIFICATIONS
Recognized degree
At least 1 year of programme planning experience, preferably in a not-for-profit environment
Working knowledge of social service practices
Prior experience as a social worker or counsellor would be advantageous
OTHER INFORMATION Technical Competencies:
People-oriented and excellent oral, written and inter-personal communications skills
Analytical ability & problem-solving skills to analyse and formulate decisions and make recommendations
Ability to design initiatives to achieve expected objectives with the resources allocated
