The Salvation Army, Gracehaven is a residential home for children and youths who require care, protection and rehabilitation due to risky behaviours and a lack of parental supervision. We aim to help children and youths reintegrate back into their family and society through an array of holistic programmes and activities specially designed to cater to the well-being of each individual person. DESIGNATION : Programme Executive (Recruitment Officer) - Fostering

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a member of the TSA Children and Youth Group Fostering team, you are expected to plan, coordinate and execute outreach events, as well as manage and conduct assessments of new foster parents.

• Recruitment and Outreach of Foster Parents
• Assessment of New Foster Parents
• Support for Foster Parents
• Assist in the collation of any reports, statistics and documentation
• Programme Planning and Execution

QUALIFICATIONS
Degree from a recognisable university
Job Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in public relations/events
• Experience in the area of conducting outreach events and recruitment drives

The Salvation Army, Children and Youth Group (CYG) Fostering is appointed by the Ministry of Social and Family Development in Nov 2017. CYG Fostering seeks to partner with foster families to provide interim or long-term alternative care in a home-based environment for foster children whose parents are unable to care for them.

Working Hours

• Under normal circumstances the hours of duty will be as follows:
• 9.00am \xe2\x80\x93 6.00pm (Monday to Friday)
• Flexibility in work arrangement is expected
