  • Assist the Project Managers in the bidding process for new contracts.
  • Advise the project teams on efficient methods to achieve the BIM deliverables as per client/ contract requirements.
  • Set up processes & workflows for efficient delivery of the project BIM deliverables.
  • Ensure a healthy start for new projects by conducting kick-off meetings & hand-holding sessions for the project teams on CDE access, Information Management, Data exchange, Modelling techniques, BIM coordination & review process, Issue management, As-built verification process, BIM handover process etc.
  • Keep the project BIM documents upto date. Includes but not limited to BEP, Project BIM Standards, MIDP, TIDP, Model Tree, LOD table, BIM Collaboration, Documentation standards.
  • Attend client meetings & lead the decision-making process affecting the BIM deliverables.
  • Conduct Trainings on BIM processes & workflows, Inspire & motivate the BIM teams, Monitor progress.
  • Assist with management of Company-wide & Project-specific BIM standards, templates & object library management.
  • Research & develop BIM initiatives & capabilities aligned with the prevailing government bodies and market/industry practices. Develop, discover, collect, and share processes, best practices, tools, and techniques of BIM.
  • Liaise with relevant authorities for the project's BIM fundings and BIM submissions.
  • Work closely with all other departments and project teams to provide solutions for BIM related technical issues.
  • Provide both managerial and technical leadership to the BIM professionals. Advise and drive various initiatives to realize the company's long-term vision of Technology adoption and integration of various BIM technologies and platforms.
  • Maintain high level of competency of software through continued use, training, and assistance to project teams on the implementation of new BIM softwares.
  • Any other duties deemed necessary and as assigned by the Senior Management.
Qualifications
  • Must possess a Degree in Engineering or other relevant certifications in BIM Applications and Management.
  • Must have at least 10 years working experience with at least 5 years' experience in BIM Management & at least 3 years' experience in an engineering or construction company having successfully completed BIM implementation for at least 2 large projects.
  • Good general & technical knowledge about construction & engineering projects.
  • Good communication skills. Must be able to speak and write English.
  • Well versed in at least one BIM Platform such as Autodesk Revit, Bentley OpenBuildings Designer, TEKLA and etc.
  • Well versed in at least one BIM coordination Platform such as Navisworks, iTwin, Revizto etc.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-driven and highly motivated, Ability to lead a team of BIM coordinators & modelers for various projects.
  • Well versed in Singapore BCA e-submission and guidelines.
