Manage customer relationship and take responsibility for the project from award of contract to completion of project. Responsible for project planning, implementing and management to meet delivery and budget requirements.
Lead several project teams and monitor the project delivery to ensure the full achievement of project goal.
Provide overall project focus during the pre-construction phase including coordination and interrogation of the following processes: co-ordination and implementation of group quality procedures, design, budgeting, programming, risk assessment, planning and other statutory approvals, value engineering, drafting of tender and contract documentation, tender assessment, contract negotiations and award;
Regulate project resources against secured, visible and proposed income; assemble project teams to successfully deliver and complete projects including construction management, test and commissioning.
Oversight all customer interfaces throughout to contract completion as appropriate; Meet customers on regular basis to ensure expectations are met; Establish and maintain close relationship with customers .
Support project team in terms of technical, contractual and commercial advice throughout the progress of the project; Develop and train the project team in order to ensure that they are well-motivated and equipped for current and future business challenges; Recruit/release project staff as and when required, ensure staff review is completed to programme by liaising with central HR;
Ensure a disciplined use and understanding of Wharton Engineering 's quality management system by the project team throughout stage 2 and stage 3; Ensure the project team is well educated on HSE ,and develop a new culture and new set of personal behaviour to realize Wharton engineering's HSE objective of zero accident; Ensure regular HSE audit take place on project;
Ensure the timely submission of invoices and monitor debtors, Review project P&L reports on monthly basis.
Qualifications
Degree of Civil Engineering, Construction management or M&E Engineering or similar professional discipline.
Have project experience in Dairy, or food industry.
Like to base in Egypt.
Minimum of 10 years working experience since graduation (or equivalent) and at least 2 years in solid SPM role, and Relevant experience working with (private sector preferable) clients in an industrial/commercial sector.
