Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer (Electrical) to oversee electrical works in construction projects. The role involves project coordination, stakeholder management, and ensuring that electrical systems are designed, installed, and maintained according to specifications, codes, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate site activities, including preparation, documentation, and submission of project deliverables. Assist the Quantity Surveyor (QS) team in preparing tenders and cost estimates. Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with requirements. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, manpower allocation, and resource plans. Review and interpret electrical drawings, perform basic design and calculations as required. Monitor project progress, identify issues, and recommend corrective actions to ensure timely completion. Enforce and coordinate site safety management systems in compliance with regulations. Ensure all works comply with relevant Singapore standards and Codes of Practice. Support the Project Manager with ad-hoc tasks and reporting as required.

Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. 3-5 years of relevant experience in electrical works for construction projects (local experience preferred). Good knowledge of electrical design principles and project management practices. Familiarity with Singapore standards and Codes of Practice. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders. Proactive, independent, and results-oriented with strong teamwork skills. Able to thrive in a fast-paced project environment.

Pay: $3,000.00 - $4,500.00 per month
