Project Engineer (electrical)
Job Description
Review of contractual documents and technical specifications
Develop technical solutions and corresponding specifications
Definition of technical requirements of mechanical/electrical equipment, apparatuses and instruments
Prepare equipment data sheets, drawings, plant layout and P&ID drawings
Work with different technical disciplines internally or external vendors to meet technical requirements.
Furnish drawings and documentation to customers as requested in customer's contract
Schedule and coordinate customer inspections
Compile final documentation to customer to ensure proper installation and orderly start-up of our systems
Manage project through various stages (basic, detail engineering, cost control) to ensure all contractual requirements are met prior to shipment
Participate in customer meetings as and when required
Conduct testing and commission of designed system with client and third party in workshop and/or client site
Liaise with suppliers, contractors and customers to meet project schedules
Execute any other duties assigned by superior
Requirements
Diploma / Degree in Mechatronics / Electrical Engineering and/or related discipline Have fire alarm and detection system, fire suppression system experience is an advantage
Design using Auto CAD software
Mindset for technical and economic smart solutions, cost awareness Experience working with marine or offshore EPCC Contractor (Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Commissioning) will be advantage Able to communicate in Mandarin with Chinese speaking customersJob Type: Full-time
