Provide advice and assistance to the Employer to ensure integrity and safety of the Project works at site. Deploy qualified staff to assist the Employer to take over installations carried out by other contractors including but not limited to attending pre-handing over inspections, confirmation checks after defects rectification and final handing over inspection, and checking of As-Built document etc. Ensure that all Project works shall be carried out to the highest standards and by competent personnel and that all materials and components and parts supplied or used by the Contractors shall conform with the design intent and specifications of the Employer. Comply with the directions and/or instructions of the Employer and/or its agents Promote and protect the interest of the Employer in accordance with generally recognised standards of professional project management practice in Singapore and observe and comply with all Laws Ensure that the Project works is in compliance with all relevant codes of practice and standards and the requirements and regulations of all Competent Authorities Co-operate, assist and supply the Employer with any relevant information document relating to and/or arising from the Services without charge and keep the Employer fully and properly informed on all aspects of the progress and performance of the Services and Understanding of applicable safety regulations including, without limitation, the Safety & Health Regulations and, without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, perform all duties required of it under the Workplace Safety and Health Act 2006. Render advice and assistance, as may be required by the Employer, in respect of any dispute or difference between the Employer and the Contractor, arising out of or in connection with the Project works. Supervise, coordinate and provide all necessary interfacing and integration of the Project works including (without limitation) the work and/or services provided by the Contractor. Ensure that the Projects works do not have any adverse effects on any upstream and downstream Mechanical Electrical Plumbing (MEP) services, affecting the safe operation of any existing Services, Facilities, Buildings and adjacent areas, of affect any building structures and their security and protective system. Support site manager to manage all aspects of the redevelopment including and not limited to strategic planning, knowledge management, user engagement, project management, budget monitoring, status reporting and meeting secretariat. Work on long-term infrastructure planning for the hospital's impending redevelopment, including coordination with NUH clinical services planning, in consideration with NUHS cluster-level and national priorities and focus areas. Work with various internal and external stakeholders for managing internal requests, as well as work with external parties such as the NUHS cluster-level, MOH & MOH Holdings, building authorities as required. Support the secretariat team for the redevelopment planning activities in a timely and well-coordinated manner, including formulation and approval of plans, setting and appraisal of targets. Suggest a system for knowledge management to document all of the redevelopment's related discussions and ensure that the system remains updated and accessible to the relevant stakeholders. Work on horizon scanning of global, regional and national trends and events, in relation to redevelopment work, infrastructure and space planning, project management and adjust the plans accordingly. Corresponding budgets and resource requirements are to be worked out. To update minor nor major renovations into NUH master drawings (AutoCad) for both architecture and M&E layouts. Retrieve the layouts for A&A projects requested by clients & users Bi-yearly walkthrough in making sure architecture layouts is up to date Organizing OMM files handed over by clients for easy retrieval. Any other duties assigned by manager Job Requirements Diploma/Degree in Project Management, Architectural, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or any related Discipline Minimal 3- 5 years' experience in Project / Site Management working in construction industry. Proficiency in MS office and AutoCAD software Worked in any healthcare environment will be advantageous but not a must.
