Job Description


Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and ensure all technical standards as agreed by global engineering and technical group are implemented and followed on the site.
  • Ensure that the projects are carried out in good order and in accordance with company rules and guidelines and manage the project performance in line with set KPIs.
  • Manage project schedules, targets and plans to ensure all are established in compliance with the customer and contract requirements for the project.
  • Monitor and co-ordinate all aspects of projects.
  • Ensure customer receive timely and good quality support.
  • Identify, manage and report project financials, deviations and explanations.
  • Proactive in identifying areas of improvement and work closely with other functions to implement quality improvement and cost savings.
  • Ensure that practices at all times comply with the regulatory approvals, permits and certification for all products and services within the defined quality, labour conditions, Health, Safety & Environmental systems, procedures and business practices of the organisation as well as Company\'s Code of Conduct.
  • Recommend changes to improve project growth and maintain or exceed original business case.
  • Outdoor intensive. 70% time will be working in Changi Project site.
  • Responsible for scheduling / planning of numerous projects across multiple capabilities; Installation, Servicing, Sourcing and Supply
  • Performs other duties as directed by Management from time to time.
  • This is an individual contributor permanent position.
Job Requirements:
  • You preferably should own a car as the current site is located in Changi
  • Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or Project Management or related discipline.
  • Knowledge and experience of Project Management practises
  • Experience of Defence, Aerospace of project delivery / planning in complex and highly regulated environments
  • Proven operational management skills (e.g. sales order processing, purchasing, logistics)
  • Familiar with financial management related to project control
  • Able to meet deadlines through good time management and allocation of priorities
  • Ability to communicate effectively within a multinational environment
  • A good team player & customer focus orientation
  • Good management skills plus a proactive, decisive and result-oriented approach
  • Self-motivated, high energy, responsible and proactive
  • An outgoing personality with good communication skills
  • Strong command of English, both written and spoken for internal & external communications and engagement
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • 70% of the time need to travel to the site on daily basis. 1 or 2 days in a week to be in the office to manage operations issues.
  • Willing to travel to other parts of SG depending on the future project sites.
  • Security clearance is often required for these project sites, example Changi.
