Job Description

Project Manager (M&E) plays a hands-on leadership role, responsible for both strategic oversight and day-to-day execution of M&E works.
In a lean organization, this role requires broad ownership--covering project delivery, commercial control, client coordination, and on-site problem solving--to ensure successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

? End-to-End Project Delivery (Hands-On)
? Take direct responsibility for M&E project execution from planning through commissioning and handover.
? Prepare and review project execution plans, construction methods, schedules, and resource allocation.
? Be actively involved in resolving technical, coordination, and site execution issues.

Commercial, Cost & Contract Control

? Establish and control project budgets, cost forecasts, and cash flow.
? Directly manage subcontractor selection, contracts, performance, and payments.
? Prepare, review, and negotiate variation orders, claims, and change requests with clients and subcontractors.
? Identify and manage commercial and contractual risks.

Schedule & Resource Management

? Develop and manage detailed project schedules and critical milestones.
? Optimize manpower, subcontractors, and resources within a lean project team.
? Make timely decisions to keep the project on track.

Client, Consultant & Authority Coordination

? Act as the primary contact for clients, consultants, and authorities on M&E matters.
? Personally lead coordination meetings, submissions, approvals, inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
? Maintain strong working relationships through direct communication and problem resolution.

Site Leadership & Team Development

? Provide visible leadership on site and closely support engineers and supervisors.
? Coach and guide junior staff through hands-on involvement.
? Ensure effective coordination among disciplines in a small-to-mid-sized team structure.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

? Ensure all works comply with contractual requirements, technical standards, and statutory regulations.
? Take active ownership of quality assurance, safety, and environmental controls on site.

Testing, Commissioning & Handover

? Directly oversee testing, commissioning, integrated systems testing (IST), and final handover.
? Ensure documentation, as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and client training are completed properly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $20,000.00 per month

Education:

Bachelor's or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:

Data Center projects: 3 years (Preferred) Hospital or Factory: 5 years (Preferred) ACMV: 10 years (Preferred) BAS integration: 10 years (Preferred)
