Job Description

The Power and Utility Project Manager position will manage all Project within APC Power Plant area, including overseeing engineers and workmen development, planning and scheduling resource, quality work, coordination with internal stakeholders and external agencies for optimum asset utilization.

Business Understanding:

• Knowledge of Chemical industry
• Technical understanding of machinery and equipment. Knowledge of quality control required for equipment life.
• Advanced understanding of technological solutions in this market.
• Shall aware of HSE programs, thorough understanding of instrument and control engineering standards.
• Ensures availability of himself during plant emergencies arise at any hour round the clock.
  

• Managing Power and Utility Area and delivering the Project in all project\xe2\x80\x99s phases including conceptual, basic engineering, detailed engineering, procurement, fabrication, and commissioning execution on-time, within scope and within budget.
• Establishing critical project objectives and goals for the teams, altogether with Project Head.
• Develop the project scope and execution plans for project staffing, budgeting, timelines; planning on business readiness and communication strategy.
• dentifying suitable vendors/contractors
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and other key team members of the project teams
• Provide support and input to several aspects of project process including material/equipment, procurement, contracts, budget and cost control, risk management, and overall project management
• Monitor and prepare reports for Business Unit Head regarding project status and progress to ensure projects are going according to plan with SQTC.
  

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering background
• Min 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience of handling Power and Utility, in Petrochemical Project including in all project phases - Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) in a similar capacity
• Willingness to be based in Riau, Indonesia
  

• Power Plant in Chemical Industry/related manufacturing management
• Capability in developing and managing budget, schedule, resources until project completion.
• Able to deal with various vendor (Technical & Management)
• Ability to communicate in English professionally (written and verbal)
• Have a thorough understanding of safety risk and mitigation strategies
