Role
As a Project Manager (PM), you will provide oversight across multiple concurrent software and/or IoT-related projects and manage key activities throughout the lifecycle from discovery through to deployment. The PM role is part of our Professional Services team where you work closely with Product, Engineering and Sales teams to ensure committed roadmap functionality aligns with customer requirements, timeline and deliverables. By translating customer stakeholders' business needs into functional solutions based on a consultative and iterative development approach, you will help field service organizations achieve process design improvements and transformational uplift using technology, while playing an integral role in shaping Kegmil's product vision.
Responsibilities

  • Establish good working relationship with and act as the liaison, escalation point and problem solver for client stakeholders, internal development teams and external partners.
  • Jointly take ownership of project kick-offs, requirements gathering and scope negotiation with internal team and partners that translates into clearly defined Statement of Work.
  • Ensure successful project delivery across a portfolio of engagements within the constraints of scope, features/functionalities, timeline, dependencies and resources.
  • Set expectations with customer stakeholders on project timelines, deliverables, task ownerships and milestone signoffs.
  • Creation of user acceptance testing material and facilitation of testing activities.
  • Work with internal and customer stakeholders to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Provide expense management oversight across projects to prevent budget overruns.
  • Manage customer acceptance and/or necessary change requests to Statements of Work.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Information Technology or related fields.
  • Execution oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced, loosely structured environment.
  • Confident under pressure, with strong analytical, problem solving, crisis management and expectation management skills.
  • Strong sense of ownership with ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, listening and presentation skills.
  • Ability to think through problems, make actionable recommendations and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Ability to take technical concepts and explaining them to non-technical customers.
  • Experience supporting process improvement related projects, preferably touching multiple departments, is an added bonus.
