About this role
The Project Manager will act as the single point of contact within a client organisation for the external project team. This role will be accountable for the overall risk and issue management of projects within specified remit. You will represent the Advisory Services interests of Arup and the industry in professional bodies and to support the growth of Arup as a brand in Advisory Services. Occasional travel to project locations may be required.

What will I do?

  • Implementing and managing the internal coordination within the client organisation and instructing the project team accordingly and ensure effective and efficient delivery of any projects within specified remit
  • Ensure project team comply with the standard client organisation governance process and related financial reporting requirements
  • Facilitating a client-specific online Project Management tool throughout the project with regular reporting of project progress and cost performance within the client organisation
  • Regular completion of KPI scorecards and assessments for project teams and manage stakeholder communication
  • Liaise with client organisation stakeholders/delivery partners (eg, Global Technology, Corporate Security and etc) as to their involvement to ensure end to end project financial management, including close out of the project financials


What will I bring?
  • Degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, etc), Architecture, or Quantity Surveying with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in providing Project or Programme Management services for commercial office fit-out projects
  • Ideally having already gained experience being based at a client’s office
  • Ability to undertake high-level analysis
  • Experience in managing key projects, including the management of multi-disciplinary project teams and the ability to effectively manage large and complex projects commercially
  • Substantial experience in working closely with client organisations, including the ability to advise clients on buildability, cost-effectiveness, and sustainable solutions
