Responsible for the successful delivery of a project within time, cost, safety, quality and environmental constraints requirements.
Provide hands-on, day-to-day project management of the Project team during the execution phase of projects (often in a Joint Venture environment).
Establish project monitoring budget within the JV.
Review on a monthly basis the status and prepare together with Project Director Monthly Site Cost Reports, and prepare minimum every six months Budget Forecast within Acciona´s systems.
Establishment of site team to ensure appropriate management of design, construction, commercial, financial, administration, safety, quality, environment and communications
Establish site operational (design & construction), commercial, financial, administration, safety, quality, environmental and communication procedures.
Ensure appropriate reporting both internally to the Management Board and contractually to the Client.
Identify issues and prepare proposals for resolution of issues.
Tracking and reporting progress through establishment of key performance indicators
Trend Analysis.
Risk Management.
Ensure timely receipt of design deliverables from consultants.
Liaise with and manage subcontractors and suppliers.
Ensure all Procedures comply with Acciona operational and technical requirements
Required Skills And Competencies
Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the PE Board
At least 12 years of engineering experience.
At least 8 years of experience in managing design and construction teams for railway projects of similar scale, complexity and nature of work.
Experience in working in a multi-national joint venture environment.
Excellent technical, communication, organizational, leadership and planning skills.
Ability to identify and analyze problems and provide solutions.
High command of English (C1).
Availability to travel.
