Experience in managing new construction and rehabilitation projects at terminals and refineries is required for this position. A good track record in the construction and repairs of above ground storage tanks is essential for this position. This person will serve as a liaison between Company and the Client by planning, directing and coordinating projects to ensure that objectives and milestones of projects are accomplished safely and within each given time frame and budget. The Project Manager serves as the primary contact for all technical and construction matters. Key Responsibilities: Plan, direct and coordinate construction activities including understanding Client's requirements, technical specification and commercial reviews and bid development to include time frame, construction procedures, manning requirements and allotted available resources for each phase of the project. Estimate work and prepare proposals based on information extracted from the bid documents and site walks and bid clarification meetings. Manage job schedules, performance, and potential work scope issues that may arise. Responsible for ensuring project invoicing is completed in a timely fashion to achieve positive cash flow and that invoices are correct to minimize re-invoicing or delayed payment. Identify and communicate work changes as they occur. Responsible for negotiating the cost (if any) of the change order with the Client, documenting the change and capturing the appropriate cost and revenue differentials. Coordinate and maintain constant communication between all stake holders of the projects. Coordinate engineering and shop fabrication and field installations arrange all rental equipment and jobsite supply agreements and secure and manage subcontract agreements. Responsible for execution of job close out procedure upon completion of the work, and delivery of job close out packages and reports to the Client in a timely manner. Manage the cost and control of the budget, with material, machine and manpower. Qualifications: Work Standards: Setting high standards of performance for self and others assuming responsibility and accountability for successfully completing projects. Knowledge of above ground storage tank design and construction and API 653 Certification are strongly preferred. Remuneration: Remuneration will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
