As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the execution of medium and complex projects and ensures that all related activities are performed in accordance with ABB policies, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments. Reporting to Project Management Group Leader, supporting the Local Division and Operations Managers in process improvement to continually increase the effectiveness of project execution.

Your responsibilities

• Leading the project team, establishes the project execution approach and oversees project hand-over, execution planning, and monitoring and control activities for both internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of policies and work instructions by adopting external \xe2\x80\x9cbest practices\xe2\x80\x9d and findings from lessons learned
• Actively seeking both internal improvement opportunities and external project management practices with relevance to ABB and influences the organization to continuously improve project execution
• Actively participating in and contributes to internal and external expert groups, e.g., project management councils and other forums
• Leading project recovery efforts, i.e., the rapid assessment of troubled projects and their turnaround on behalf of the Local Division

Your background

• Master or bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in engineering from an accredited institution; Accredited qualification in Business Management, PMP certification are added advantage
• Minimum 10 years of total engineering and project management experience
• Strong Leadership and business management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Solid professional with proven success in delivering Data center automation projects, complex projects in Process Industries, including, but not limited to the scope of Automation Systems, Electrical & Drive system, Digital Solutions
• Project management experience of Data center automation projects in Singapore will be preferred
• Project management experience of Pulp & Paper, Metals and Mining industry projects in the Southeast Asia will be preferred
