A Project Manager is required to:
- Ensure overall success of a project by ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, meet business requirements and comply with governance framework, including security and resiliency;
- Manage and monitor project plan, project milestones, risk and change management to ensure delivery of the project on schedule, within scope and budget;
- Plan and manage the scope of the project, its objectives and desired outcomes, and ensure alignment of project to the business outcomes of the company;
- Plan and lead the development of the business case/concept paper and budgeting;
- Plan and lead the overall procurement activities, in particular tender specifications compilation, tendering, tender evaluation, recommendation & award;
- Lead the development of the overall project schedule & activities based on the appropriate methodology including identifying dependency, critical path, milestones and deliverables;
- Manage processes and procedures covering issue and risk management;
- Manage the project schedule; lead activities towards the successful closure of
- Performance Guarantee and Warranty Period;
- Ensure compliance to Government\xe2\x80\x99s and ICT policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);
- Follow-up and ensure audit findings are addressed;
- Perform systems log review;
- During project maintenance, lead the application maintenance and support services covering:
Basic Requirement
- CITPM (Certified ICT Project Management Programme) or PMP (Project Management Professional) or COMIT (Certification in Outsourcing Management for IT) or an equivalent certification.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in full project development life cycles;
- ICT project management and people management skills;
Additional Requirement
- Tertiary education in relevant fields
- Any other relevant professional certifications or additional working experiences.
- Knowledge and experience in the Application Domain Category and Database
- Knowledge of Singapore Government procurement and ICT governance processes
- Knowledge of the Government IM8 policies
- Knowledge of design thinking and workshop facilitation
