Job duties:

Oversees details like obtaining permits and design evaluations
Coordinates the procurement and delivery of construction equipment and materials
Negotiates with vendors and suppliers
Hires employees and subcontractors
Consults with engineers, architects and other professionals in the construction industry
Drafts, submits and reviews project tenders
Ensures construction adheres to regulations and standards of performance, safety and quality
Handles all project documentation
Tracks expenses and ensures cost estimates stay within budget
Monitors and reports progress to clients
