Title: Project Manager Position Description/Job Responsibilities To undertake the Hydrogen SME for the Global Advisory business. Under broad direction this position would require coordination of resources and expertise with other KBR offices and business units worldwide. Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Core Functions:
- Act primarily as a Subject Matter Expert of Green H2 (Hydrogen), H2 carrier Technologies and economics associated with the deployment of those technologies
- Excellent understanding of the global Hydrogen market, key technological and macro-economic developments impacting Hydrogen market growth including the impact of national and regional policy frameworks
- Articulate internal and external subject matter knowledge into strategic roadmaps and a business case to support Advisory business customers
- Be a technical leader for the subject area covering at time Project Delivery roles at the same time supporting business growth opportunities with external engagements.
- Reporting to the Operations Director, the individual will work in close collaboration with the team within Advisory Consulting team
- to develop Advisory solution/strategy roadmaps for H2 deployment
- to further develop our H2 service capability and offering
- to develop strategic thought leadership articles, white papers for H2 to support Advisory brand positioning in this market
- to assist in development and management of H2 and related Energy Transition customer relationships
- to deliver Advisory Consulting H2 projects to ensure delivery to the Customers upholding Advisory Quality and brand requirements
- to further develop Advisory solutions capability for H2, Hydrogen carriers and associated facilities (training and development of others, developing standard technical delivery frameworks, execution efficiency, support growth and development of HVEC execution capability, etc.)
- to maintain 60% chargeability while ensuring active involvement and inputs for pursuits, proposals, and project delivery cycles
- Work as a project manager for the delivery of Advisory projects as requested, including Green H2, energy transition master-planning projects
- Provide inputs and support for strategic market communications and actively engage in creating thought leadership
- Coordinate and collaborate with Advisory Consulting Business leaders, Global Energy Transition Leads and SMEs
- Coordinate with Consulting/Advisory operations resources for the project execution
- Degree in Engineering, with additional qualifications in Business or Economics (MBA can be an advantage)
- Typically, a minimum of 15 years Energy industry experience, with at least 10 years specific to Hydrogen,
- Experience with renown advisory consulting firms with demonstrated capability to grow advisory business will be an advantage
- Experience in working at executive / C suite / C-1 where negotiating G2G / G2B business opportunities
- Experience developing and implementing energy transition strategy
- Proven capabilities in delivering high end Advisory projects is essential
- Strong understanding of Energy Transition technical concepts and commercial feasibility
- Familiarity with local and GCC green energy enabling policies, credits and incentives
