Job Description


I'm actively looking for Project Managers with good experience in project coordination in the area of business process engineering for one of our globally recognized clients in Singapore.

Job Purpose

  • Deliver efficient and effective finance functions in enterprise/business decision support, financial control and processing services.
  • Increase efforts on value creation and analysis; reduce efforts on process-based activities.
  • Meet rising demands from Regulators and Business

Key Accountabilities

  • Delivering documentations on desired outcome and data/information requirements for finance users
  • Collaborating with project members to deliver project’s deliverables within stipulated time and assisting project team to understand user’s requirement as stated in the documentations, to enable better efficiency with solution development.
  • Plan, organise and lead finance users throughout the project life cycle
  • Support on BE (Business Events) Management

Job Duties & responsibilities

  • Engagement of stakeholders by conducting initial assessment, commit delivery of CR and timeline and communication
  • Identify and lead changes by compiling requirements during design stage, arranging of requirement workshop and management of Business Events
  • Lead testing approach and sign-off criteria and assist project team in UAT on setup and testing
  • Monitor the overall UAT progress and perform risk assessment. If there are any escalations from SME, bring it to program team/overall PM for resolution
  • Provide overall signoff to Project team upon receiving signoff from all SMEs
  • Keep track of to-do list for production implementation and get plans for post implementation checks
  • Handle ad-hoc assignments from time to time

Required Experience

  • Preferably with experience in the Finance function of banks, candidates should be experienced project coordinators in the area of business process engineering
  • Good experience in taking minutes for fast pace meetings
  • Possess strong analytical, interpersonal, communication skills and presentation skills
  • Well versed in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word/ Office 365 applications
  • A self-starter, attentive listener, independent and be able to thrive in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Comfortable with system logics/rules and able to connect/translate the system rules to accounting /reporting rules
  • Experience in planning, specifying system requirements and driving user acceptance testing and deployment from a Finance function perspective.
  • Flexibility and ability to multi-task and take on different types of roles and activities at the same time
  • Has a ‘can-do’ attitude/mindset
  • Ability to problem solve, be creative and think out-of-the-box

Core Competencies

  • Strong business analyst skill set.
  • Good project management skill set.
  • Working knowledge of the financial reporting in a bank. Knowledge in accounting would be added advantage.
  • Has tenacity, focus and self-driven.
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills (verbal and written).
  • Good people skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
