Opportunity

• Opportunity to be working in a US MNC within the technology and electronics industry
• Location: Central
• Adhoc traveling

Responsibility

• Strong understanding of internal products and work with cross-functional teams to identify and address safety trends in field data.
• Analyze raw data to identify trends and work with design teams to build consensus on the root cause of the observed issue and then present the findings to upper management.
• Using scientific methods, conduct failure investigations and careful disassembly of products to determine failure mechanisms.
• Manage shipping/receiving processes to efficiently receive, return and track all shipments.
• Work to improve and implement world class data collection and reporting systems.
• Good knowledge of shipping and logistics within the region, in particular shipping of lithiumion batteries is a plus

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of evaluating the field performance of consumer products.
• Knowledge of products design and experience in dismentalling
• Knowledge of electronic engineering and devices, ability to diagnose and determine the product and component failures, and monitor the trends.
• Knowledge of battery design and failure mode and analysis is a plus.
• Knowledge of hand tools and electronic measurement equipment including digital multimeter and high-speed video. Knowledge of sensors such as thermocouples is a plus.
