The Institute for Digital Molecular Analytics and Science (IDMxS) invites applications for the position of Project Officer.

The Institute for Digital Molecular Analytics and Science (IDMxS) is a new, unique and interdisciplinary Research Centre of Excellence (RCE), funded by Ministry of Education (Singapore), Nanyang Technological University and National University of Singapore. Hosted by NTU in partnership with NUS, IDMxS is world\xe2\x80\x99s first organized effort focused on interfacing the biological and living world with the world of information technology and data science whilst providing fundamental scientific development, grounded in materials science, optics, and interfacial chemistry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the IDMxS scientists and science communication administrators to translate and share the impact of IDMxS research and activities through IDMxS\xe2\x80\x99 communication channels
• Research, develop and produce stories for the institute\xe2\x80\x99s website and social media
• Manage social media accounts of the institute, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube
• Support events, as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• BSc in science with experience in science communication, or BA in journalism/communications with experience in writing about sciences, and at least 2 years of experience
• Proven ability to work well with multi-functional team and diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal, written skills.
• Experience in writing, editing and creating science content for websites and social media.
• Experience with video production and photography will be an advantage.
• Experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, and video editing software will be an advantage.
• Experience with event management will be an advantage.
