The Centre for Micro and Nano-Electronics, School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore is seeking to hire a responsible project officer to support the research for the project titled: \xe2\x80\x9cMultispectral Nanophotonics for Sustainability\xe2\x80\x9d.

The Project Officer will work on a project to conduct the research on development of nanophotonic structures for optical computations. The roles of this position include:

Conduct research and develop theoretical models for nanophotonics interacting with structured materials

Apply numerical models to analyze various metamaterials, providing valuable information for simulating real materials exactly (to numerical precision)

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and contribute to joint research projects

Job Requirements:

BSc in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field with focus on Many-body physics. The higher degree such as MSc or PhD with the excellent publication records will be preferred

Experience in matlab, MEEP, RCWA and other softwares and algorithms

Good understanding of metamaterials, metasurfaces and optical computations

Strong knowledge of optical physics, while experimental experience would be preferred

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently, manage projects, and meet deadlines

Effective communication and presentation skills

Attention to detail and commitment to scientific rigor
