The Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERI@N) invites applications for the position of Project Officer.Key Responsibilities:Investigating pore-scale CO2 mass transport in porous mediums.Developing and applying numerical models to accurately quantify and predict the mass transport of CO2 at pore-scales.Designing and constructing an integrated microfluidics device for the cultivation of microalgae.Conducting microfluidic experiments to investigate CO2 absorption by algae.Performing numerical simulations to explore algae transport in biocrude oil synthesis.Active participation in writing research proposal and grants reportsJob Requirements:Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in mechanical engineering, or related fieldMinimum 1-year experience in laboratory researchExpertise in additive manufacturing, 3D printing, microfluidics system, process optimizations, CAD drawing, machining, mechanical testingPrevious experience in algae and zooplankton\xe2\x80\x99s culture and handlingProficiency in basics of programming languages such as Python, Jupyter Notebook, C++ LanguageExcellent proficiency in writing and spoken EnglishWe regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.Hiring Institution: NTU
