Job Description

• Plan, monitor and control the construction of project
• Responsible for the achievement of all project objectives
• Manage the project within budget and on schedule while ensuring acceptable quality as well as maintaining high safety standards
• Participate in development of construction methodology & constructability study
• To be involved in preparation of work scope for contractors
• Understand & review contractual specifications and applicable rules and regulations of regulatory bodies, and to execute project based on the said requirements
• Collaborate with Section Managers to develop manpower loading & work plan
• Arrange & coordinate facilities supports for project
• Review engineering documents for constructability, identifying & clarifying any discrepancy
• Conduct Vessel Safety Coordinate Committee Meeting
• Responsible for work site safety. To manage & ensure all work sites compliance with MOM & company safety policies
• Responsible for the quality control and safety performance of the project
• Monitor procurement and delivery status, ensure all required materials & equipment arrive on time to support project schedule
• Plan & manage production functions through coordination with respective departments & various stakeholders of the project
• Work with owners, classification surveyors and government bodies pertaining to project requirements. Resolve issues with owners directly on all production related matters
• Manage and supervise the project team assigned. Ensure the team has resources & information to perform their task effectively

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in engineering discipline related to marine, construction, mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Minimal 3-5 years of experience in project & construction management roles, preferable in Shipyard
• Experience in handling construction of renewables projects such as OSS, HVDC platform & WTIV
• Familiar with EN 1090 standard
• Able to work independently and take responsibility for project delivery
• Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines without compromising safety or quality.
