Job Description

Ashtead Technology are looking for a dynamic and detail-driven Project Technician to join our onshore team in Singapore!





This is a hybrid role, combining project planning (60%) with equipment preparation and delivery (40%). You'll be at the centre of ensuring projects run smoothly, from planning and scheduling to making sure critical equipment is ready to perform.

What you'll be doing:

Equipment preparation:

Inspect, test, calibrate, and repair equipment to ensure it's fully operational and safe for hire. Package and present equipment to the highest standard, ready for transport and storage.

Stock & documentation:

Maintain accurate records in the ERP system, label and track equipment, manage spares and consumables, and keep technical manuals, checklists, and procedures up to date.

Project planning & support:

Maintain project schedules, source and purchase materials, prepare technical documentation, and support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).

Customer support:

Provide effective technical assistance, attend client meetings, and be available for on-call support when required.

Continuous improvement:

Support equipment integration, testing of new technology, and development of engineered solutions to enhance performance.

Health & Safety:

Work in line with Ashtead Technology's Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality policies, always following industry best practice.

This is the perfect opportunity for a Technician to move into an office based role, but still stay close to the tools.





What else will ensure success in this role?



You have previous experience as a Technician, undertaking the repair, maintenance and testing of mechanical/hydraulic equipment, preferably in a subsea environment Extensive knowledge of subsea equipment Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or similar technical discipline




Desired but not essential experience?



Experience working in an offshore environment Knowledge of subsea electro-mechanical equipment
