testing, commissioning, and maintaining IoT devices

supervising installers
and providing
after-sales support
. You will work closely with engineers to ensure reliable data collection and system performance across various smart-building and industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities
Install, test, and commission
IoT sensors and gateways on-site.
Perform
site visits
for survey, installation checks, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Supervise contractors and installers
to ensure correct wiring, configuration, and mounting of devices.
Read and interpret single-line diagrams (SLD)
for setup and troubleshooting.
Verify sensor connectivity and data transmission
through LoRaWAN networks.
Perform
firmware updates, sensor calibration, and diagnostics
as required.
Provide
after-sales support
, both on-site and remotely.
Document commissioning results
and prepare reports for internal and client review.
Assist in
basic scripting or automation tasks
using C/C++ or Python for device configuration or data testing.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree
in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, or IoT-related Engineering from a Polytechnic or University.
1-3 years of hands-on experience
in IoT, electrical installation, or equipment testing.
Ability to read and interpret PCB schematics and SLD drawings
.
Basic knowledge of
C/C++ or Python programming
.
Familiar with
LoRaWAN communication
and related IoT hardware.
Proactive, responsible, and detail-oriented
, with good problem-solving skills.
Willing to
work on-site
(indoor/outdoor) for testing and commissioning activities.
Preferred Skills
Experience with
LoRaWAN gateways and sensor configuration tools
.
Familiar with
network setup and troubleshooting (Wi-Fi, Ethernet)
.
Experience using
test instruments
such as multimeters or oscilloscopes.
Exposure to
smart building or industrial IoT deployments
is an advantage.
