As Public Area Attendant (Night), you\xe2\x80\x99ll assist to ensure that the public areas meet the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s standards for cleanliness and presentation \xe2\x80\x93 ensure high standards are met to deliver memorable and unique guest experiences. You will be placed on permanent night shift. What is the Job?
Ensure working knowledge of all hotel public areas and cleaning schedules completed in a routine and timely manner
Be aware of hotel information, special events and programs happening in the hotel to respond to guests needs at first point
Liaise with Housekeeping Supervisor in relation to chemical usage, problems or rectification suggestions
Refer major complaints to and complete tasks directed by Management
Maintain stock levels and work aligned to business requirements
Maintain a current and thorough knowledge of all housekeeping systems
Ensure all procedures are conducted safely and in accordance to OH&S guidelines
Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly
Assist guests and escort them to locations within the hotel at their requests
Ideally you are a motivated individual and team player with a friendly personality who is able to multi task and work in a fast paced environment. You should have at least a secondary qualification or minimum 1 year of experience working in a Hotel Housekeeping environment.
