Job Description


Job Scope

  • Attend to internal requisitions in respect of materials, engines, marine spares, equipment and machineries, etc;
  • Invite quotations and tabulate pricelist on goods to be purchased for comparison;
  • Seek clarifications with vendors, suppliers on specifications of spares, stores and parts, etc to be purchased;
  • Process, and issue purchase orders;
  • Co-ordinate with Stores on deliveries and collections;
  • Maintain and update purchasing master files, vendor pricelist registers, using in-house computerized system- IMS Cloud system;
  • Monitor placement orders and follow up with vendors on urgent and speedy deliveries;
  • Assist in preparing monthly forecast reports, stock inventory levels;
  • Carry out any procurement related assignment;
  • Perform reception duty and office routines as assigned from time-to-time.
Requirements
  • At least GCE 'O' Level / Higher Nitec (Business Management)
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
  • Marine Industry is a plus
  • Knowledge of MS Office, IMS software – Inventory Control management, accounting
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Diligent and responsible
  • Able to work independently
  • Positive working and learning attitude
Working Hours
  • Monday - Friday 830am-530pm
  • Saturday 830am - 1230pm
  • Free Transport provided - pickup point at Boon Lay MRT
  • Preferably staying in the West area
