Job Description

JOB PURPOSE The Purchasing Manager is primarily responsible to perform the daily operations, planning for inventory and re-stocking of products and sourcing for new products in accordance with the company\'s expansion plan. Liaison with warehouse, sales dept and clients for the quantities and product categories for purchase. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES a) Coordinate with warehouse personnel for re-stocking of materials and products for daily operations b) Price negotiation with suppliers for purchase of materials and products c) Prepare and maintain materials and products cost prices in the systerm d) Provide sellin price to sales department for quotation to customers e) Qualification and Approval of new materials and products and update to Approved Vendor list and product list f) Issue Purchase Orders to suppliers g) Ensure correct pricing from suppliers invoice before approval for payment h) Invoicing, Issue debit and credit notes QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED a) A tertiary qualification in any discipline b) Minimum 1 year relevant working experience c) Good negotiation skills and confident d) Excellent communication skills and ability to influence at all levels e) Knowledge of ERP, inventory management and finance systerm f) Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as a team under pressure g) International Trading knowledge h) able to travel as required by the company CORE COMPETENCIES REQUIRED a) Taking Ownership b) Execution and Result c) Analysis & problem solving d) Teamwork e) Communication skills f) Adaptability g) Strategic Thinking KEY TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED a) Knowledge of purchasing and invoicing b) Supply chain management c) Import & export shipping documentation d) Inventory management e) Fluent in spoken and written Mandarin and English
