Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide support to HOD or Senior Manager in the preparation of purchasing plans and strategies to meet the requirements of the project
• Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques
• Negotiate with external vendors / sub-contractors to secure advantageous terms.
• Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
• Experience in collecting and analyzing data.
• Liaison with other departments (Engineering & Finance Dept.) to ensure clarity of the specifications & payment matters
• Perform risk management for supply contracts and sub-contract agreements
• Responsible for preparation and process purchase order/contract
• Finalize purchase details of order and deliveries
• Timely Purchase Order placement and delivery
• Liaise, Keep track and ensure of timely submission of Performance Bond(s) to Finance Dept
• Maintain purchasing policy and ensure that all purchase adhere to policy conditions
• Ad hoc duties such as Contracts and admin tasks as and when required

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of related working experience required.
• Good communication, negotiation, interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially in MS Excel and MS Word)
• Able to work well under pressure and handle emergency and stressful situations including working as teamwork
• Able to work in west area.
