Job Description
SENIOR/PURCHASING EXECUTIVE
Key Responsibilities:
- Report to the Purchasing Manager of Coim Asia Pacific Pte Ltd
- Assist Purchasing Manager to manage local and overseas sourcing for chemical, supplies and contract services.
- Sourcing of packaging materials, drums, pallets, etc.
- Sourcing for printing of sales brochures, etc.
- Responsible for the selling of used packaging and keeping track of its movement.
- Coordinate new raw material qualification in collaboration with the Laboratory.
- Ensure FTA certificates are prepared and delivered for relevant raw materials.
- Assist SHEQ department in establishing the control of raw material quantity for annual permit.
- Regular review with Laboratory and Production of inventory status and anticipating of potential materials shortages.
- Co-ordinate and arrange for return of materials with problems back to Supplier.
- Work with logistics and suppliers to minimize demurrage charges.
- Any other duties as and when required to be done by the Purchase Manager.
Key Requirements
- Diploma or University Degree in Chemistry
- At least 3 years relevant working experience, preferably in petrochemical, chemical or pharmaceutical industries
- Must be prepared to work in Jurong Island
