QUALIFICATIONS

Must be a graduate of Bachelor's degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Economics, Marketing or other related fields
Preferably with at least less than 1-year work experience as Purchasing Officer/Assistant, but fresh graduates may also apply
Preferably knowledgeable in the canvass of construction materials, negotiates for the best pricing from the suppliers

Required skills: import and export, custom, bidding, communication and negotiation skills.
Clerical Skills
Neat handwriting
Analytical and keen on details
Time management/Prioritizing skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate with the delivery team and following up on delays or orders that have been rescheduled.
Establish professional relationships with clients as well as vendors and suppliers.
Facilitate end to end purchasing process of items
In charge of issuance of purchase orders to suppliers, distributors, and manufacturers
Ensures that ordered items are accurate and free from damage upon receiving
Work closely with relevant departments to ensure that the purchased items are in line with the needs of the company
In charge of keeping records related to purchases made
