Purchasing products from a number of vendors in a timely and responsive manner.
Liaising with vendors, freight forwarders and warehouse staff.
Manage daily Purchasing activities.
Working with inventory planners to maintaining product category listings and re-order points.
Obtain information regarding product marketing and other issues that may affect purchasing lead times.
Ensuring inventory integrity.
Tracking orders to ensure goods are received in a timely manner.
Resolve all outstanding issues such as short shipments, product quality, etc.
Communicating with internal staff, suppliers and freight forwarders - both verbal and written.
Requirements:
Min 2-3 years of experience in purchasing.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
