Job Description
- Purchasing products from a number of vendors in a timely and responsive manner.
- Liaising with vendors, freight forwarders and warehouse staff.
- Manage daily Purchasing activities.
- Working with inventory planners to maintaining product category listings and re-order points.
- Obtain information regarding product marketing and other issues that may affect purchasing lead times.
- Ensuring inventory integrity.
- Tracking orders to ensure goods are received in a timely manner.
- Resolve all outstanding issues such as short shipments, product quality, etc.
- Communicating with internal staff, suppliers and freight forwarders - both verbal and written.
- Min 2-3 years of experience in purchasing.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
