QA Automation Engineer

THE POSITION Title: QA Automation Engineer RegASK is a digital platform, using artificial intelligence for augmenting regulatory research. Our technology routinely monitors, anticipates and reports updates or changes to relevant regulations, providing instant alerts. Our platform also allows us to zero-in on applicable regulations to identify and analyse any gaps in the compliance of a product. Your role as a QA Automation Engineer is to write scripts and create automation environments for repeated tests. Using different automation tools, you will design, test, and deploy effective test automation solutions. Your goal is to automate as much of the testing effort as possible while supporting the manual test operations. In this role, you will benefit from the mentorship of highly skilled experts and you will be working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects at once, which involve stakeholders across the company. Reporting to : Head of Engineering Responsibilities:

• Design, write and execute automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically
• Review manual test cases for the relevant application and provide feedback on suitability for automation to the project team
• Support, maintain, and enhance all test case automation related activities during iterative development, system testing, and regression testing
• Maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system
• Determine the priority for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement these scenarios
• Write documentation for automated processes including test plans, test procedures, and test cases;
• Build test automation frameworks
• Assist with manual testing; execute manual test cases and scripts for products under development using test management/tracking tools
• Create and maintain test plans, cases, scenarios/scripts, in compliance with defined QA standards and methodologies
• Establish and configure testing environments for executing test cases and scenarios
• Review user stories and functional requirements
• Log and document bugs in the tracking system;
• Participate in the development, deployment, and administration of QA process, tools, and supporting technologies

• 5+ years of experience with software testing of web-based applications using a structured testing methodology
• 3+ years of experience with automated functional testing tools, preferably Selenium or Cypress
• 2+ years of experience developing with programming languages (javascript)
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem solving, and analytical skills
• Superb written and verbal communication
• Experience testing a large portfolio of high-traffic websites and multi-tier internet systems
• Experience working with Agile Methodologies and highly frequent release cycles
