About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated

QA Engineer

to join our software development team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through hands-on testing, automation, and collaboration with developers and product managers. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for quality who wants to grow their expertise in modern testing practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute

manual and automated test cases

. Perform

functional, regression, and integration testing

across web, mobile, and API-based applications. Identify, document, and track defects using issue management tools (e.g., Jira). Collaborate with developers and product managers to review requirements and clarify acceptance criteria. Contribute to the development and improvement of

test automation frameworks

. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective. Ensure test results are clearly reported and communicated to stakeholders.

Requirements

2-4 years of QA/testing experience

in software development environments. Familiarity with

automation tools

(e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright). Experience with

API testing tools

(e.g., Postman, REST Assured). Understanding of

CI/CD pipelines

and version control systems (e.g., Git). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Diploma/Polytechnic, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience

in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to

Agile/Scrum methodologies

. Basic knowledge of

performance testing tools

(e.g., JMeter, Locust). QA/Testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB Foundation Level). Interest in expanding automation and DevOps skills.
