QUALITY INSULATION AND PAINTING SUPERVISOR

Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for quality control of all painting/coating/insulation works, in accordance with the standards and procedures etc.
• Perform inspections in accordance with the ITP (Inspection and Test Plan).
• Arrange qualification test for Blasters/Painters and certify them.
• Ensure inspection and test equipment is serviceable, with in calibration period and personnel are knowledgeable in its use.
• Ensure blast medium and coating materials conform to project specifications.
• Ensure surface preparation blast profile/cleanliness meet requirements.
• Ensure any identification marks or tags removed or over coated are replaced.
• After the full curing activity conduct visual inspection and specified non-destructive and destructive tests.
• Prepare daily reports on the work in progress.
• Responsible for timely inspection during fabrication and construction, proactive in the prevention of non-compliance and problem resolution.
• Carry out any other duties as and when required.
  

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in any field.
• Certificate: NACE (National Association of Corrosion Engineers) Coating Inspector level II, SSPC Coating Inspector Level II.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in painting and coating Inspection.
• Proficient computer knowledge with Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word and Outlook) is required.
• Ability to prioritize the work in multi-tasking environment.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines, follow up on commitments, and action.
• Strong ability to solve problems and communicate persuasively.
• Willing to work in a Jurong Island projects.
