Job Description

We are presently seeking an ambitious algorithmic trader who will spearhead the establishment of their own trading desk. This role is intended for algorithmic traders, but traders without coding experience will be considered. You will need your own trading strategies.

What Will You Do At Quant Matter?

Able to run your own desk and manage your own profit and loss. Able to come up with new trading ideas, new algorithms and trading strategies. Able to improve current strategies. Able to develop new functionalities for existing trading platforms. Research financial markets, develop quantitative trading models and analyse results.

Our Ideal Candidates Would Have

Minimum 2 years experience in trading one or more asset classes including Equities, Options, Futures, Forex, and others. Familiarity with markets such as the United States, KRX, JPX, Australia, China, cryptocurrencies, and other relevant markets. Any major is welcome, but a diploma, BS/MS/PhD in computer science, mathematics, or quantitative financial modelling is preferable. Passion about algorithmic trading and HFT trading. A self-motivated and can-do attitude. Proven track of trading record. Excellent coding skills will be a plus (C++, Java and Python). Have a broad understanding of macro-economic drives in the business environment. Preferable 3 years of experience in the financial industry.
