Our client is a leading player in construction industry. They are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their QS Team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the North / East area.
Duties of Quantity Surveyor:
Review contracts, measurements, and prepare Bills of Quantities.
Handle progress claims, variations, and liaise with clients.
Source and compare quotations, prepare tender pricing.
Monitor budgets and update management on project matters.
Verify subcontractor/supplier claims and process payment certifications.
Attend site and progress meetings, and follow up during the defects liability period.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and support other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
Min Diploma in Quantity Survey or Civil Engineering
Min 3 years of Quantity Survey experience in roadwork
Good negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills
