Prepare, review, and update cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents for electrical works.
Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure compliance with specifications and budget.
Source and purchase electrical materials, equipment, and services at competitive rates.
Negotiate with suppliers and contractors to secure favorable terms and pricing.
Monitor material delivery schedules to ensure timely supply to project sites.
Verify and process progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts for electrical works.
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, cost data, and supplier performance.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to meet project requirements.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and safety regulations.
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
Minimum 3 years' experience in electrical QS and/or purchasing role, preferably in construction.
Strong knowledge of electrical materials, equipment, and suppliers.
Proficient in cost estimation, tendering, and procurement processes.
Good negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
