The Capital and Liquidity Management (\xe2\x80\x9cCLM\xe2\x80\x9d) Manager provides advice and guidance to functional colleagues and relevant internal stakeholders on capital, liquidity, balance sheet, asset and liability exposures, risk weighted assets (RWA), funding maturity profile, cash flow projections and legal and regulatory dimensions, for the effective management of financial resources. They will devise strategies and tactical measures to optimise funding for the bank, managing asset and liability mismatches in the liquidity pool and implement appropriate hedging strategies to manage risk. They will ensure that appropriate controls are in place to manage capital/liquidity/earning risk, in line with the bank\xe2\x80\x99s risk appetite and regulatory requirements. Where relevant, they may develop and execute risk management strategies and manage risks within authorised limits. They may also develop and execute the bank\xe2\x80\x99s issuance plans and / or devise and maintain structures to improve the liquidity of business assets.
The CLM Manager typically manages a team of CLM Analysts/Specialists to deliver support for run-the-bank (RTB) and change-the-bank (CTB) activities, ensuring appropriate business coverage and resource prioritisation.

The Group Treasurer is based in London and the Treasury function operates across the globe with major hubs in Frankfurt, London, Singapore and New York.
Summary:
The successful candidate will be an experienced, independent and self-motivated contributor to the global Balance Sheet management team in Treasury. As the person will lead various efforts in the overall balance sheet management in APAC, the role demands a high level of commercial awareness, technical risk expertise and the ability to build relationships and manage a wide variety of senior stakeholders, including Business Heads, Country and Regional management, Finance, Risk, and other global Treasury functional teams.
