Job Description


The Assistant Talent and Culture Manager/Senior Talent and Culture Executive, Talent Engagement is responsible for developing employer branding, colleague communication and colleague engagement initiatives, programmes and activities, in order to support the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s business objectives. Primary Responsibilities Supports Work on Employer Branding

  • Assists to strategise and drive ongoing progressive and best practices in enhancing employer branding as an employer of choice.
  • Assists to sustain the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s position as an employer of choice and a leading world-class hospitality icon.
  • Assists to benchmark against the best-in-class not only within international and local hospitality but across all industries worldwide.
  • Coordinates with Marketing Communications in work related to employer branding including social media posting.
  • Assists in the preparation and submission of Talent and Culture related awards.
Heartist Journey \xe2\x80\x93 Colleague Communication
  • Responds to all colleague enquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Ensures the dissemination of information to hotel colleagues in the most effective way on timely basis and in a timely manner.
  • Prepares posters, and updates all colleague communication channels e.g. colleague notice boards, colleague TV screens, \xe2\x80\x98TalkTown\xe2\x80\x99 \xe2\x80\x93 colleague mobile phone app, etc.
  • Prepares Talent and Culture submission for \xe2\x80\x98Raffles Insights\xe2\x80\x99 \xe2\x80\x93 online newsletter by Marketing Communications.
Heartist Journey \xe2\x80\x93 Colleague Engagement
  • Plans and executes the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s colleague activities and events e.g. sports, social, recreational, educational visits, workshops, interest groups, teambuilding, etc.
  • Plans and executes the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s colleague Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Diversity and Inclusion initiatives, programmes and activities.
  • Plans and executes the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s colleague engagement survey.
  • Responsible for communicating the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s colleague engagement results and facilitating the action plans with departments/sections.
  • Plans and executes the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s colleague recognition programmes to inculcate a culture of spontaneous colleague recognition.
  • Drives health at workplace initiatives aligning the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s Talent and Culture initiatives and programmes.
  • Drives a fun and caring environment and a supportive and inclusive workplace culture.
Prepares and Submits Reports on Employer Branding, Colleague Communication and Colleague Engagement
  • Prepares and submits on timely basis Accruals and Forecast reports on Employer Branding, Colleague Communication and Colleague Engagement to Assistant Director of Talent and Culture, and provides relevant supporting documents for submission.
Involvement in Wider Job Function Relationships
  • Assists and supports the Talent and Culture team in projects and colleague activities as required.
  • Implements corporate Talent and Culture initiatives and programmes on timely basis.
  • Upholds Accor Values of Guest Passion, Sustainable Performance, Spirit of Conquest, Innovation, Trust and Respect in the execution of all duties and responsibilities, and in ensuring full compliance by all departments.
  • Participates and supports sustainability in corporate initiatives and programmes such as Planet 21 \xe2\x80\x93 Corporate Social Responsibility, Diversity and Inclusion, Women at AccorHotels Generation (WAAG), etc.
  • Performs any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned.
Candidate Profile Knowledge and Experience
  • Tertiary education preferably in Mass Communications/ Human Resources from a reputable institution.
  • Minimum 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 relevant experience preferably in hospitality industry and in luxury hotels in Singapore.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • Oral fluency and written excellence in English.
  • Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages and dialects an advantage.
  • Strong communicator with presentation and influencing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work with colleagues from different cultures and connect well with colleagues at all levels.
