Job Description
Growy is a vertical farm located in Changi Logistics Centre, where food is produced in a future-proof and sustainable way. Our mission is to produce local, zero-waste, nutritious, affordable and delicious vegetables, salads and herbs. We are looking for a passionate and motivated leader to join us as an R&D Director!
What you\'ll do:
- Continuous improvement of crop yield and quality
- Team Lead of Bioscience team
- Supervising all internal and external R&D activities
- Defining functional requirements of all crop types
- Translating customer specifications into optimized growing recipes for all products
- Define grower requirements for operating software
We ask:
- Minimum 3 years experience in Agritech and Indoor Vertical Farming
- Experience conducting Agricultural trials and R&D
- Masters degree or equivalent in Agricultural Science or similar
- Passion and in depth knowledge of plant science in indoor vertical farm settings
