The R&D Manager/senior Manager is responsible for the definition, design, concept definition and new product development cum qualification in the area of smartcard tape, micro-electronic module packaging and Radio-Frequency design (HF and UHF). He is responsible for the budget respect and deployment of Linxens quality design for manufacturing guidelines.
He/She will conduct technology surveys and explorations to enable key technologies evaluation to support new product development and introduction. He will manage interaction and bring technical expertise with his team to the other functions of the company (to Sales, New venture, production & engineering).
Job Responsibilities:
- Leads the R&D team tape and Modules to deliver new products, on time, under budget, and Yield targets
- Develop technical benchmarks against key competitors and identify emerging or advanced technologies to improve competitive position. Proposes new R&D exploration and development bring to the next level
- Responsible roadmap definition and execution on module packaging smartcard
- Responsible to bring new products into business, design, concept definition, coordination and work with stakeholders (program, project Managers, purchasing, operations)
