Responsibilities:

• Project preparation: Project sketch/outline, project definition
• Project setup: Conduct Kick-off, get budget approval, tailor project, establish project environment, setup project
• organization, prepare decision for make or buy strategy
• Project planning: Project requirements, approve design, check intellectual property rights, plan phases, plan
• iterations (identify work packages and estimate efforts, plan resources, plan costs, schedule), manage project risks, calculate manufacturing cost, quality planning
• Controlling and reporting a project: Orchestrate progress, control resources, control cost, quality assurance, manage defects, conduct retrospective, monthly report / executive summary
• Update project planning and project changes: Change requests new development (CRND) / Engineering change process (ECP), estimate risk budget material, decide make or buy operational in project team, supplier management
• Escalations within the project: Definition of path, identify compensating measures in terms of deviations from project targets, plan scenarios for implementation, initiate decisions
• Finalize project: Estimate efforts after sales release (IFRS), transfer from realize to commercialize phase, conduct lessons learned, conduct retrospective, clean up project
• After finishing new project: Customer defect elimination, replacement of discontinued parts from suppliers, improvement of functional robustness according to specification, minor design to cost measures, minor functional improvements

Requirement:

• 5 years hardware development related assignments within Machine and/or Automation Industry, Industrial Equipment Manufacturing, Engineering Services
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics engineering or similar Good to have Project Management Certification e.g. IPMA/GPM, PMI, Prince2 or similar
