HPCs are products that intersect the traditional automotive domain (safety, reliability, and comfort) with the information technology domain (cybersecurity, virtualization, IOT and Devops). Responsibilities: . Provide high quality architecture standards in quote and execution phase to secure our business position. . Provide expert consulting on development projects. Support to define AN PL1 architecture roadmap, future concepts and platforms. . Functional lead of chief project architects in Asian locations. Ensure relevance through continuous monitoring of market trends, technology changes, competitor solutions, legal requirements and norms. Identify and develop needed competencies of architecture specialist to support current and future products. . Ensure re-use and consistency of architectures for Asian OEMs. Guide regional project architects in 'how-to' in terms of process and tool usage . Supervise RFQ/RFI and execution of HPC D1, D2 and D3 projects in terms of architecture for region Asia. Complex system related investigations, concepts and presentations. . Lead chief project architects in Asian locations functionally. Expertise in system design, automotive standards, architecture methods and tools. Qualifications . Masters / Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Science or Computer Engineering with minimum 10 years' experience in embedded system development . Minimum 6 years experience in field or architecture / system engineering / automotive product design / automotive functional safety . Minimum 3 projects completed . Experience in leading and coaching junior colleagues and interns . Experience in international project teams with multiple development locations. . Good oral and written communication skills. . Quality focus, precision, change management and cost awareness. . Profound understanding of vehicle automotive Electrical/Electronics System. . Profound understanding of vehicle network systems and protocols. Understanding of (CAN/LIN/Diagnostics is required as minimum) . Usage of Architecture tools like Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect etc. . Excellent understanding of Functional Safety application and management (ISO26262) . Good understanding of Security in product application and management . Experienced in OEM engineering communication. Vehicle OEM engineering contact/project experience is a MUST . Excellent written and oral communication, organizational skills. Experience working in highly distributed team is preferred . Ability to interface with internal teams and external customers/partners .
