Job Purpose
As a Regional Business Intelligence Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Improve and sustain the quality of business decisions in accelerating performance by Sales & Marketing in the Greater China Intercontinental (GCI) region, routine data analysis from multiple internal/external data sources and enhance the overall commercial effectiveness
  • Help drive the Regional Omnichannel execution in all LOCs through best in class and/or novel omnichannel analytics
  • Championing Advanced Analytics capability as a regional service and promoting its value to the business by facilitating data-informed decision-making through insights and prediction analysis of market, customer and competitive behavior trends
  • Be the advocate to upskill overall analytics capabilities in conducting data driven approach strategic analysis at all levels (beyond BI).
  • Involves working with cross-functional teams finance, supply chain, commercial operations, marketing and sales in the marketing ensuring delivery of coherent performance measurement, tracking systems and analytics for ongoing daily operations and strategic planning
  • Partnering with and supporting the LOC BI operations
  • Ensure synergies in reporting systems
Primary responsibilities
  • Support regional Omnichannel ambition with support from strong Omnichannel Analytics, including but not limited to: Reporting /Dashboards, Bespoke customer engagement analysis, Lead \xe2\x80\x93 lag reporting and correlation, etc.
  • Display comprehensive knowledge of market environment, systems and processes, and enable data integration across different commercial channel and systems
  • Exhibit deep engagement and establish strong partnership with business owners to ensure comprehensive use of data in commercial decision making and continuous improvement in data analytic capability for sales & marketing organization
  • To analyse different sources of data (internal and external [e.g. IQVIA, Infrared, Veeva, etc.]) and compile a range of reports on a periodic basis in accordance with GSK standards on company\xe2\x80\x99s performance as well as competitors\xe2\x80\x99 activities and thereby enable the decision makers to make sound business decisions.
  • Manage business intelligence relationship with GCI tech, global tech and 3rd Party vendors
  • Continuously drive improvement in data accuracy and connectivity across different commercial platform/ system
  • Responsible for development and reporting of timely and accurate KPIs for the business including key performance indicators including the automation of regional performance dashboard.
  • Take responsibility for deployed solutions with core functions that include interfacing with internal customers, management of complex business rules and processes, data validation and quality assurance, identification and resolution of issues
  • Stakeholder management, extensive liaising with LOC commercial BI and tech leads in LOC, region and global.
  • Rapid response to events and regional needs: facilitating fast feedback cross-functionally and driving rapid adoption of best practice within cluster

  • Degree in Business, Management, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Finance or STEM
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Marketing, Market Insights, Customer Insights or Commercial Operations
  • Experience in pharma, pharma consulting, pharma analytics, healthcare consulting or healthcare analytics
  • Exceptional MS Excel automation skills (minimum 3 years of experience)
  • Knowledge of other tools like R/Python/SQL/PowerBI is an advantage
  • Knowledge of advanced analytic techniques (statistics) and software tools/ database software is a plus
  • Capable of working across boundaries and functional areas
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
