Job Description
Responsbilities
- Replenishment of stock & non-stock items
- Ensure constant and efficient stock availability
- Planning long term stock inventory
- Inventory & Product Management
- Managing inventory movement
- Optimize good inventory turns
- Communicating product/pricing updates to sales
- System maintenance of Parts & Attributes through Product Content Management
- Other functions include Intercompany transfers, Rebates, STD cost management and distribution of specific vendor information.
- Expediting & freight management
- Liaising with forwarders on product shipping status
- Identify and solve delayed shipments
Requirements
- Bachelor or Diploma in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
- At least 3 years working experience in buyer position
- Prior working experience in telecommunications, electrical or electronics industry would be an added advantage
