Job Title Regional Compliance Director Summary The APAC Regional Compliance Director will join a developing, dynamic, and talented Global Ethics and Compliance team and advise the business on relevant ethics and compliance topics and issues. This position reports to the Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer.About the roleResponsible for overseeing the provision of advice to the businesses and functions on ethics and compliance initiativesEmbed a strong culture of ethics and compliance in the APAC Region including promoting a Speak Up culture.Collaborate with the CECO to develop the strategic direction of the E&C program for the APAC Region, including developing, maintaining, and constantly improving the programHelp the business integrate Ethics and Compliance into its daily management and strategic planningProvide timely, accurate and pragmatic advice to relevant stakeholders in the APAC Region on a range of E&C issues, including working with government officials, use of third parties, due diligence issues, international trade regulations, etc.Ensure alignment of the regional plan with global E&C priorities and sharing of standard processesProvide guidance on compliance-related matters, and builds and maintains strong working relationships across all functions and levels of the organizationSupport compliance training and communications, including tailoring content, audience identification, training delivery, and completion trackingConduct risk assessments and monitoring activities in the APAC RegionThird party risk management \xe2\x80\x93 liaise with the business to ensure timely and accurate due diligence/economic sanctions/KYC screening of third partiesExecutes on additional projects and workstreams as required to develop and mature the company\xe2\x80\x99s Ethics & Compliance ProgramManage and mentor a team of ethics & compliance professionals in the APAC regionAbout YouJD or equivalent preferredSubstantial experience (10+ years) in managing ethics and compliance programs and/or equivalent strategic advisory experience in key ethics and compliance areas such as Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Anti-Money Laundering, International Trade Regulations, Conflicts of Interest, Fraud, Due Diligence and third-party management.Deep understanding of ABC law and practice, together with an ability to apply that knowledge to complex and sensitive scenarios.Self-confidence to take a firm stand and able to seek solutions to complex issuesStrong moral compass and unquestionable integrityExcellent judgment, analytical and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated and ability to work independently, but collaborate with team and business stakeholdersAbility to prioritize, multi-task, and maintain flexibility in fast-paced, changing environment.Highly organized with attention to detailAbility to exercise good judgment and discretion concerning highly confidential, privileged informationOther:Position is based in Singapore or AustraliaRegional travel may be necessary, up to 10%Why join Cushman & Wakefield?As one of the leading global real estate services firms transforming the way people work, shop and live working at Cushman & Wakefield means you will benefit fromBeing part of a growing global company;Career development and a promote from within culture;An organisation committed to Diversity and InclusionWe\'re committed to providing work-life balance for our people in an inclusive, rewarding environment.
